About Lindsey
My Approach
Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on empowering you to achieve your goals. As a therapist focused on empirically based therapy practices, I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical framework/skills, and an attachment-focused lens. I have spent a significant time helping clients learn how to build coping skills, manage stress/uncertainty, and work towards trauma symptom reduction. My experience is also in treating shame and setting healthy goals while addressing/breaking unhelpful patterns. I have had the pleasure of seeing clients thrive who did not believe they could. I currently have availability to take on new adult, child and teen clients (over the age of 10) for individual therapy. In addition, I offer sessions to parents looking for assistance with managing their child’s behavior concerns or looking to fine-tune their parenting skills.

I believe everyone deserves a chance to live their best life and to work with a therapist who treats them with dignity and careful attention. Therapy is a sacred space of healing, and I believe it is an honor to join the journey with you. I believe a therapist's willingness to understand your specific point of view is critical in addressing your individual needs. Individual therapy allows you to work through a host of issues at your own pace.
