Supervision

Licensure Supervision

In addition to believing that clients deserve high quality care, I also believe that therapists who are learning to hone their skills through therapy supervision deserve a safe place to grow into an effective therapist while obtaining their license. I am Board Certified as a supervisor in the State of Texas. My goal for supervision is for you to feel as confident and competent to do the therapy needed for the client to grow. The board requires that LPC-associates (formerly LPC-Interns) receive a minimum of 4 hours of supervision per month.

LPC Supervision rates: $75 an hour.

Currently LPC licensure is overseen by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Counsel. For more information on applying as an LPC associate (LPC-intern) visit: Applying for a License – Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council

What is needed for supervision. you will need to obtain an LPC associate/interns level license (provisional license) first. Once this has been completed you will need to fill out a Supervisory Agreement Form.   The form needs to be completed by the supervisee and a Board Approved Supervisor and be submitted to the board.
